TERMS OF PURCHASE
Cosmenor AS is the exclusive distributor of the French cosmetics brand Sothys Paris. In the foillowing are the terms & conditions regulating any purchase on the Site.
1. General information
These terms and conditions for purchase apply when you as a consumer place an order in the online shopping solution at www.sothys.no ("Sothys webshop"). Sales on sothys.no are carried out by Cosmenor AS, Solbråveien 23, 1383 Asker (reg. no. 996047466 VAT). When you make a purchase on sothys.no, you enter into a purchase agreement with Cosmenor AS. You are also aware that you are bound by these terms and conditions as well as our Privacy Policy These terms of purchase are subject to change and it is therefore your responsibility to review the latest version before each purchase.
2. Enter into a contract
To shop on Sothys webshop, you must be 18 years of age, not be under guardianship and otherwise have the capacity to enter into contracts. If you are under 18, you must have your guardian's permission to order from us.
A contract between you and Cosmenor is generated when you receive a delivery confirmation from Cosmenor. Please note that the contract only applies to the goods confirmed in the delivery confirmation.
We reserve the right to any delivery delays and final sale. We also reserve the right to technical errors, printing errors and misprints. We reserve the right to adjust any errors in price information before and after the order has been processed.
3. Payment, shipping and delivery
Orders on www.sothys.no are usually sent within 4 working days, but within 10 days at the latest. The order amount reserved in connection with your order will not be deducted from your account until the order has been sent from us.
There is free shipping for orders where the total for the products is a minimum of NOK 1,000. Cosmenor reserves the right to change shipping costs. For this reason, check shipping costs each time you order. Current prices are shown when the choice of shipping is made at the checkout on sothys.no. Your postcode may determine which delivery methods you can choose.
3.1 Goods not in stock
If an item you have ordered is not in stock when the order is to be packed, only the items you have ordered and which are in stock will be delivered to you. If you were not charged for shipping when the order was placed, you will not be charged for shipping when the order is updated.
3.2 Notification
When the order has been dispatched from our warehouse, a notification to this effect will be sent to your email with a tracking link.
3.3 Packages that are not collected
Your package will remain at your delivery point for a period of time that depends on the respective delivery company's policies. We reserve the right to invoice you a fee of NOK 150 if a package returns to us as an undelivered package. If you have paid for your order but not collected it, you will automatically be credited for the amount of the goods (but not for the shipping cost) once we have processed your delivery.
3.4 Cosmenor's right to refuse orders
Cosmenor reserves the right to refuse orders, for example if discount checks that you have not received directly from Cosmenor have been applied to an order, or to refuse samples for repeat orders of less than a certain amount.
3.5 Order and delivery confirmation/receipt
When you have completed an order, you will receive an e-mail with order confirmation. If you have not received an order confirmation, please check that your email address is correct. Notify customer service and we will send you the confirmation again.
When the goods are sent from Sothy's e-commerce warehouse, you will also receive a delivery confirmation/receipt via e-mail. Contracts for the delivery of your ordered products are generated when you receive a delivery confirmation.
4. Force Majeure
Cosmenor is not obliged to fulfill the purchase if there is an obstacle that Cosmenor cannot overcome, or the fulfillment would require sacrifices that are not reasonable in light of the customer's interest in Cosmenor fulfilling the purchase. The customer is also not entitled to compensation for the damage the customer has suffered through Cosmenor's delay or error if the delay or error is due to an obstacle beyond Cosmenor's control that Cosmenor could not reasonably be expected to have foreseen at the time of purchase and consequences that Cosmenor could not reasonably have avoided or overcome.
5. Right of withdrawal
You always have the right to cancel your order within 14 days* when shopping with Sothy's e-commerce. The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the date you or your representative receives the product in physical possession. The product must be returned with unbroken packaging and otherwise unused and in an undamaged condition. For hygienic reasons, certain products are excluded from the right of withdrawal. For health and hygiene reasons, products with broken packaging or other broken seals are not covered.
If you used a bonus check when you purchased the product you choose to return, the refund will be given in the form of a gift card or credit receipt. However, if you have used a discount coupon or promotional offer for the product you choose to return, the coupon will not be reactivated.
5.1 Use of the right of withdrawal
If you choose to return the item, it must be sent to Cosmenor within 14 days of the date you notified us that you changed your mind. The return is paid for by the customer.
You will receive the refund no later than 14 days after we were informed of your decision to cancel the order. We have the right to withhold the refund until we have received the goods or you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever occurs first.
Please note that refunds are always made in the same form of payment as the original purchase. If the original purchase was made with a debit card, refunds can only be made to the same debit card. This has no effect on your rights under the law. Cosmenor is not responsible for the goods during the time they are sent back to Cosmenor from the customer.

6. Complaints
Cosmenor guarantees that all shipments are examined before they are sent to the customer. Should the item still be damaged or defective when it arrives, you have a three-year right to complain about original defects from the day you receive the goods. A customer who wishes to claim a fault in the ordered product must contact customer service as soon as possible after the fault has been discovered. See contact information below. You can also visit one of our Norwegian Cosmenor stores.
6.1 Gifts and samples upon purchase
When returning purchased goods, gifts and samples received by Cosmenor in connection with the customer's purchase must also be returned by the customer.
6.2 Shipping costs
In the event of an approved complaint, Cosmenor will pay the cost of return shipping. If the complaint is not valid, you pay the cost of return shipping.
6.3 Allergic reaction
If you have had an allergic reaction to an item you bought from Cosmenor, contact our customer service. We never record information about your health or make recommendations about your health or allergic reactions.
7. Payment and prices
7.1 Secure payment
Trading through Sothy's e-commerce is safe and easy. You choose between direct payment through the bank or card payment where your debit or credit card is linked to Visa or Mastercard/Eurocard, Vipps or invoice/part payment (Klarna account). You will find more information about the various payment options under the respective headings below.
7.2 Card payment
If you have a debit or credit card with Visa, Mastercard/Eurocard, Electron, Maestro card or American Express, you can pay with your debit/credit card. When you choose this payment option, the amount will be reserved on your debit/credit card at the time of order and payment will only be made when the items are shipped to you.
Through its payment providers, Cosmenor offers the latest systems for more secure payments. This sometimes means you have to activate them through your bank. If your card purchase is rejected because of this, you must use invoice payment or contact your bank to activate more secure card purchases online.
7.3 Payment via Vipps
If you are associated with Vipps, you can make a payment that is withdrawn directly from your bank
onto. Upon return, the money will be refunded to your bank account or to your bank or credit card or cash.
7.4 Invoice
The invoice is sent via e-mail from Klarna. The invoice is transferred to our partner, Klarna AB, who performs a simplified credit check without a confirmation copy. For Klarna's terms and conditions on invoice as a payment option, click here.
Partial payment (Klarna account)

7.5 Prices
All our prices are stated in Norwegian kroner and include VAT. VAT is reported on the order confirmation/receipt. The prices do not include any delivery costs. Current prices are reported on the website near the items. In the event that the quoted price is clearly incorrect, we are not obliged to offer the lower incorrect price.
7.6 Gift cards
Gift cards are available for purchase in all our stores and on our website.
Cosmenor gift cards are valid as payment for goods in all Cosmenor stores and through Sothy's e-commerce. The gift card cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to a credit card, but instead you will receive a credit receipt upon return. The card is valid for two years from the day it is loaded or used. For each purchase where the card is used, the remaining available amount will be shown on the receipt. The card can be topped up at any time in Cosmenor stores. You can always check your card balance in the Cosmenor store or at sothys.no. Cosmenor is not responsible for lost or stolen cards.
8. Product information and images
Cosmenor does its best to provide as accurate product information as possible. However, we recommend that you always double-check the product information and contents on the packaging when you receive the shipment, especially if you are allergic or hypersensitive to any substance.
The packaging of our products may vary in appearance. In some cases, a different size than the one offered may be pictured. For this reason, the written information about volume always applies. Please note that color samples of products on Sothy's e-commerce may vary depending on the screen and your individual screen settings.

All content on sothys.no is owned by Cosmenor or its licensors. The information is protected by, among other things, intellectual property rights and commercial law. This means that trademarks, trade names, product names, images and graphics, design, layout and information about products, services and other content cannot be copied or used without prior written consent from Cosmenor.
8.1 Best before date
Most of our products have a symbol that looks like a box with an open lid. The symbol shows either 6, 12 or 24 months. This indicates the shelf life of the product from the time it is opened. Other products have specific date markings.
Also remember that shelf life is affected by how you store and use the product. For example, do not use your fingers without a spatula when removing skin cream from a jar as bacteria spreads easily and the product's shelf life is shortened. It is also not good for beauty products to be stored too hot or in direct sunlight.
9. Choice of law and dispute resolution
These terms and conditions shall be interpreted in accordance with Norwegian law.
The parties shall attempt to resolve any disputes through amicable negotiations. If this is unsuccessful, you can present the case to the Norwegian Consumer Council for arbitration. The Consumer Council is available on phone 23 40 05 00 or at forbrukerradet.no.
10. Changes in terms and conditions of purchase
Cosmenor reserves the right to make changes to the terms and conditions of purchase. Changes to terms and conditions for purchase will be notified at www.sothys.no. Terms and conditions that are valid at any time are available at https://www.sothys.no/konditions
11. Links on our website
If sothys.no contains links to other third-party websites and materials, it shall be made clear that Cosmenor has no control over the content or material on these websites, and shall therefore not be held responsible for any damages or losses.
